Overview
Lake Manyara National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is a beautiful and diverse ecosystem known for its stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and picturesque setting at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Covering 330 square kilometers, the park is renowned for its striking combination of lake, forests, and open savannah. The park’s central feature is Lake Manyara, an alkaline lake that attracts a variety of wildlife and migratory bird species, including the famous flamingos.
Lake Manyara National Park is also known for its diverse habitats, which include dense forests, grassy floodplains, and wetlands.
