Overview
Serengeti National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is one of the most iconic and renowned wildlife destinations in the world. Covering over 5,700 square miles, the Serengeti is famous for its vast open plains, diverse ecosystems, and incredible wildlife.
The park is best known for hosting the Great Migration, a spectacular event where over 1.5 million wildebeests, along with zebras and gazelles, traverse the plains in search of water and fresh grazing land. Serengeti is home to all of Africa’s "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), along with an abundance of other wildlife, making it a must-visit for safari lovers and photographers.
