Spanning over 13,000 square kilometres, Tsavo East is known for its expansive landscapes, ranging from savannahs to rugged terrain, and its impressive biodiversity. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a wide array of bird species.
