After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most diverse wildlife reserve. This vast park stretches from the shores of Lake Albert and is divided by the Nile River, which plunges through a narrow gorge to form the breathtaking Murchison Falls. The park is home to an incredible range of wildlife, including chimpanzees in the forests, Rothschild giraffes, elephants, and buffaloes near the riverbanks, and lions, antelopes, waterbucks, hippos, and crocodiles across the savannah. The Buligi Circuit offers some of the best game-viewing experiences.
On the way, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where wild rhinos roam. This protected area is home to 22 southern white rhinos and offers rhino trekking, shoebill stork sightings, and birdwatching with over 300 species recorded. The sanctuary is also home to Uganda kobs, oribis, bushbucks, and waterbucks. Visitors can also enjoy canoeing and guided night walks, which reveal nocturnal wildlife and clear starlit skies.
After an eventful day, arrive at Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls, where you can witness the powerful Nile River squeezing through a 7-meter gorge before dropping 43 meters into the depths below.

Start the day early with a warm cup of coffee before setting out on an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. This experience takes you through some of the park’s most wildlife-rich areas, including the Delta, Buligi Peninsula, and the southern section known as the heart of Murchison. The Buligi Peninsula, with its wide open grasslands, is an excellent place to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes. The Delta region is known for lions, and along the Victoria Nile and Albert Nile, you may see hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and possibly leopards. The southern part of the park is covered with thick bushes and forests, making it a great place to search for lions and other predators.
After an exciting game drive, stop in the wild for a bush breakfast, where you can enjoy a delicious meal surrounded by nature.
In the afternoon, transfer to Paraa for a boat cruise along the Nile River. This three-hour journey to the base of Murchison Falls is one of the park’s most spectacular experiences. Along the way, see hundreds of hippos, massive Nile crocodiles, and a variety of water birds, including the rare shoebill stork. The cruise continues to the Delta, where the Victoria Nile meets Lake Albert, offering incredible game-viewing and birdwatching opportunities.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Along the way, pass through Fort Portal, a charming tourist city in Western Uganda, known for its breathtaking scenery. Fort Portal is the perfect gateway to several natural attractions. Visitors can explore Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its chimpanzee tracking, take in the beauty of the Crater Lakes, or visit the Semuliki National Park, known for its hot springs and rich wildlife. The city also boasts cultural landmarks like the Kabarole Main Mosque.

Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. The guided trek starts from the Kanyanchu Visitor Center and lasts 2 to 3 hours. Chimpanzees are the main attraction, but keep an eye out for other fascinating primates like the black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. Your experienced guide will also introduce you to various bird species and the unique plants of the forest. The trek allows a small group of six people per session, ensuring an intimate and immersive experience.
After an exciting morning with the chimpanzees, return to the lodge for a well-earned lunch and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project located on the outskirts of Kibale National Park. Walk along a scenic boardwalk trail as you explore this biodiversity hotspot. Bird lovers will be thrilled to see over 138 bird species, including the striking Great Blue Turaco. The sanctuary is also home to eight different primate species, including red colobus, mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and vervet monkeys.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before departing for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most famous wildlife destinations. Along the way, stop to explore the Crater Lakes region, a stunning landscape of ancient volcanic lakes surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery. From the Top of the World viewpoint, soak in panoramic views of the scenic countryside.

In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive through the northern section of the park, home to an incredible variety of wildlife. The Kasenyi Plains, located near Lake George, are a prime spot for spotting lions, antelopes, and elephants. The Kazinga Channel, famous for its large hippo population and basking Nile crocodiles, attracts a wealth of bird species and other wildlife. Another highlight is Kyambura Gorge, also known as the ‘Valley of the Apes’, where chimpanzees thrive in dense tropical rainforests.

In the afternoon, transfer to Kazinga Channel for a scenic boat cruise. This leisurely cruise offers fantastic opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and antelopes near the water’s edge. The banks of the channel are also home to a variety of birds, including migratory species. The cruise provides stunning views of the Mweya Peninsula and glimpses of local fishing villages along the shores.

Start your day with breakfast, then set out on a morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, searching for tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees.
After the game drive, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving at your lodge in the afternoon. Enjoy lunch, relax, and later, have dinner before settling in for an overnight stay.

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking. Led by experienced guides, trek through dense rainforest, following trails that may take anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours to find a gorilla family. Once located, spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching how they communicate, eat, and interact. Seeing a silverback up close is a truly breathtaking experience.
After returning from the trek, have lunch at the lodge, then visit the Batwa community. The Batwa people, the original inhabitants of Bwindi Forest, share their traditional way of life, including hunting techniques, medicinal plants, and cultural dances. This visit offers a rare glimpse into their heritage and survival skills.
End the day with dinner at the lodge before settling in for the night.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying an en-route game drive before checking in at your lodge. Have lunch, then go for horseback riding to spot impalas, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and birds or take a boat cruise to see hippos and crocodiles.
In the evening, start on a night game drive to spot leopards, hyenas, lions, and other nocturnal animals before returning for dinner and an overnight stay.
