Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Flight to Bwindi
Your journey to the Pearl of Africa begins as you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, located along the scenic shores of Lake Victoria. Upon landing, you will board a connecting domestic flight to Bwindi, home to the ultimate gorilla trekking experience.
Domestic flights to Kihihi Airstrip, situated in the northern sector of Bwindi, operate at 07:00, 10:15, and 13:00, providing flexibility for your travel schedule.
Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, your driver will be waiting to welcome you. From here, enjoy a 1-hour scenic drive to your lodge, passing through stunning landscapes and rolling hills. After check-in, relax at your lodge or opt for optional activities, such as a cultural visit to the Batwa community or a refreshing waterfall hike in Bwindi Forest.

Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Flight to Entebbe
Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the Park Headquarters for the mandatory registration and briefing. Enjoy a 30-minute performance from the local community group, then listen as the Park Ranger explains the gorilla trekking rules and guidelines. Equipped with a walking stick and face mask, you will begin your trek through the dense Bwindi Forest.
The trek can last between 1 to 6 hours, taking you through lush vegetation, towering trees, and diverse wildlife habitats. Along the way, you may spot other primates, unique tree species, colourful birds, and vibrant butterflies before finally encountering the majestic mountain gorillas. Spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat, watching their interactions, and capturing remarkable photos.
After this extraordinary experience, return to the lodge for a hearty meal and relaxation. Later, your driver will transfer you to Kihihi Airstrip, where you will board your flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will connect to your next African safari destination or international flight home.
