A La Pisada Africa Safaris representative will meet you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha City. You will receive a detailed safari briefing, covering the itinerary, accommodations, and the exact pick-up time for the next day's adventure.

Distance: 130km | non-game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, stopping briefly in Arusha Town for any last-minute purchases. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population and majestic baobab trees. It is a key part of an annual migration, attracting 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras.

Distance: 200km | Time: 2 – 3 hrs
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the Serengeti’s vast open plains, a true symbol of wild Africa.
Upon arrival, head to the Seronera region, a prime wildlife habitat sustained by the Seronera River, which attracts a wide variety of animals. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.

Wake up early to witness the Serengeti sunrise, a perfect time for wildlife sightings. Spend the day on an exciting game drive, tracking animals across the vast plains until late evening. After an eventful day, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the night.

Distance: 210km | Non-game viewing time: 3 – 4 hrs
After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. With year-round water sources, the crater is home to wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and large elephants. It also has a high density of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards, which are sometimes difficult to spot.
Visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwest, where flamingos, hippos, and other water birds gather. In the late afternoon, transfer back to Arusha, marking the end of the safari.
