Day 1: Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park
At 8:00 a.m., depart from Moshi (Springlands Hotel) for a 4-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out for a late afternoon game drive, the best time to spot wildlife. The Rift Valley escarpment creates a stunning backdrop to the lake. In the groundwater forest, monkeys swing between branches, while elephants find shade along the escarpment. Other commonly seen animals include zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos.

The 3 to 4-hour drive to Serengeti National Park passes through Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site in the eastern Serengeti plains where early human fossils were discovered. The dramatic landscape was shaped by the same tectonic forces that formed the Great Rift Valley millions of years ago.

After breakfast, set out to explore Serengeti’s remote wilderness on a half-day game drive. With a picnic lunch by your side, take your time discovering this world heritage site, home to the largest concentration of plains game on earth. In the late afternoon, drive to Ngorongoro Wild Camp or a similar lodge.
Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the Ngorongoro Wild Camp or a similar lodge (full board).

Ngorongoro Wild CampDay 4: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive & Return to Moshi
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos and lion pride, including magnificent black-maned males. The crater also has colourful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other wildlife includes leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, antelope species, and small mammals. In the afternoon, drive back to Moshi or proceed to the airport for departure.
Overnight stay at Springlands Hotel (bed and breakfast) or drop off at the airport for your flight.
