Start your day with breakfast before departing for Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, pass through Fort Portal, a scenic town known for its tea plantations, breathtaking views of the Ruwenzori Mountains, and lush green landscapes.
Upon arrival at Kibale Forest National Park, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Crater Lakes, a beautiful series of volcanic lakes surrounded by rolling hills. Afterwards, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Start your day with an early breakfast, then head to the Kibale Forest Park Headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking.
Accompanied by experienced guides, walk through the lush rainforest, listening for chimp calls and spotting other primates like red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabeys. The trek lasts 2 to 3 hours, with one hour spent observing the chimpanzees up close.
After lunch at the lodge, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a biodiversity hotspot known for its rich birdlife, primates, and vibrant plant species. Walk along a boardwalk trail, where you may spot the Great Blue Turaco, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys.
Return to the lodge in the evening, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.

After breakfast, set off for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, one of Africa’s oldest rainforests and home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The journey takes you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering scenic views and possible wildlife sightings along the way.
Arrive at Bwindi in the afternoon, check in at your lodge, and enjoy a late lunch. Spend the rest of the day relaxing, soaking in the beautiful forest scenery, or exploring the surroundings.
End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Begin your day with an early breakfast, preparing for an exciting gorilla trekking experience. By 7:00 AM, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing by rangers. Your guided trek through the dense forest will take between 30 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants, including the dominant Silverback, in their natural habitat.
After lunch, visit the Batwa community to learn about their traditional way of life before they were relocated from the forest. Walk through the jungle with Batwa guides, see their hunting techniques, learn about medicinal plants, and experience their unique cultural practices.
Return to the lodge in the evening, enjoy dinner, and relax after a memorable day.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before bidding farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Depending on your schedule, take a scenic drive back to Entebbe or opt for a domestic flight from Kihihi Airstrip.
