Day 01 :

Nairobi-Masai Mara

Distance: 265km | Time: 5 - 6 hrs
Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner
0600 – 0730hrs: Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi. Airport pickup will be arranged should you arrive on an early morning flight.

0800hrs: Once all the members of the tour are ready, departure to Masai Mara National Reserve; we travel through Maasai country and enjoy the scenic, rich floor of the Rift Valley.

See the traditional homesteads along the road and the Maasai herders grazing their cattle dressed in brightly colored sheets.

We will stop along the road for a break and to enjoy the stunning view from the Rift Valley escarpment before proceeding to our destination.

Day 02 :

Arrival in Masai Mara National Reserve & First Game Drive Adventure

You will arrive in the Masai Mara around afternoon, when you will commence your first game drive, exploring this beautiful grassland studded with acacia trees. The grassland is the richest ecosystem, home to a large number of wild animals.

Accommodation will be at the lodge of your choice, Mara Sopa Lodge / Olmoran Tented Camp / Mara Chui Camp / Mara Enkorok Camp / Elangata Olerai Camp.

Day 03 :

Masai Mara-Nairobi

Distance: 265 km | Time: 5 hrs
Meal Plan: Breakfast
After breakfast at the lodge or camp, your driver/guide will help you check out, and you will then travel back to the vibrant capital city of Kenya, Nairobi.

Along the way, you will see Mt. Longonot, an extinct stratovolcano situated in the Rift Valley, approximately 70km southeast of Lake Naivasha in Kenya.

It is thought to have last erupted in the 1860s. At the same time, its name is derived from the Maasai word 'Oloonong'ot' that translates 'mountains of many spurs' or 'steep ridges' depending on the translation.

You will be expected in Nairobi at 1630hrs (4:30 pm).

An optional tour would include:

A stop at Naivasha to have lunch or make other excursions at an additional fee.

A visit to Kiambethu Tea Farm for a tea farm tour with a three-course buffet lunch, at an additional fee.

Otherwise, we shall drive directly to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, your place of residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for departure.
