Depart from Moshi for a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a picnic lunch before setting out on a late afternoon game drive, the best time to observe wildlife.
Approaching from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment forms a dramatic backdrop to the lake. In the groundwater forest, monkeys leap through the trees, while elephants find shade along the escarpment. Other frequently seen animals include zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffalo, and hippos.
